This is a contracted driving service. We do not carry passengers ourselves, and we charge by the hour, never by distance or by trip.

Rates exclude consumption tax. Fuel, tolls and parking are charged at cost.
There is one driver, so bookings are first come, first served. Late night, early morning, long days and multi-day bookings are quoted individually.
What we need from you
- A vehicle owned or used by your company or by you (white-plate company, leased or private car)
- Motor insurance that covers any driver, including age conditions
- Fuel, tolls and parking paid at cost
- The ride is not one you charge your passengers for (travel agencies cannot use this service to transport their paying guests)

An Italian based in Tokyo. He holds a Japanese Class 2 licence and has chauffeured VIP clients and hosted overseas delegations in Japanese, English, Italian, French and Spanish.
He signs a non-disclosure agreement for every engagement. No photos, no social media.
He also trains the drivers of hire and taxi operators for VVIP Service Certificate.

Questions
Who will drive?
Fulvio, our founder, in person. He is never replaced by another driver. If he is not free, we do not take the booking.
Is it legal for you to drive our white-plate car?
Under guidance from Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, driving someone else's vehicle at their request and being paid for the driving is not paid passenger transport (guideline on transport not requiring a permit or registration under the Road Transport Act, 1 March 2024). This is the only way we work.
What happens in an accident?
Your vehicle's motor insurance applies. Our liability insurance: details to be published. Please make sure your policy covers any driver before booking.
How far ahead should we book?
Standard bookings close at 5 pm the day before. Same-day requests are accepted only when he is free. With one driver, it is best to book as soon as your dates are set.
Can you provide the car too?
We do not supply vehicles. For a car and driver together, book Driven Tokyo (driventokyo.com), operated by a licensed hire operator.
Which languages do you cover?
Japanese, English, Italian, French and Spanish.
How do we pay?
Companies pay by monthly invoice. First-time and private clients pay by card in advance.
